What do you expect when you walk into a church building?
We know that most people don’t know what to expect and others have certain expectations when they enter the doors. While we respect your expectations, we know realistically, that we cannot please all people, our desire is to be all that God expects us to be, to be faithful and obedient to Him, following the leadership of the Holy Spirit. You will find that in all we do, it is our desire to bring glory and praise to God.
We believe that the Word of God is inerrant and relevant for our day. Our focus is on ministering the Word of God in an effective way, a way that is understandable and practical. While we are not a mega-church and not even aspiring to be one, we want to be your church family, to come together at the feet of Jesus and learn to obey Him and impact our world together through Him.
We want you to be our guest, you will find that East Side is a very friendly church, I know, all churches say that, but you come and see for yourself. We really want to take that a step further, not only do we want you to be our guest, we want you to unite with us in this great adventure we call the walk of faith.
We are committed to carrying out the Great Commission of our Lord. In doing this we are very concerned about the gospel being preached and taught. It is not about our slant on the gospel message but the literal gospel of Jesus Christ.

What you will see when you come…
Our Sunday School time has a real focus on the Bible, Adult classes, Children’s classes, and sweet safe nursery care.
Your child will enter Kidville, where they will learn from a group setting and story time followed by crafts, memory verse, and games. Every child is important and our desire is to share a Christ-centered environment for them to learn the Bible.
Adults will spend time together in fellowship and bible study.
The morning worship will consist of a blended style of worship, prayer, and the preaching of God’s Word by our pastor…. And a time of reflection and invitation to follow Jesus. Your time is valuable and we understand that and respect your time.
Wednesday evening is a very unique time for those who attend. Our focus is on prayer and bible study. You will participate (at the level of your comfort, we will never single you out to pray out loud if you are not comfortable doing so) in prayers for individual needs, both physical and spiritual needs of our peers, relatives, and others know in the world. Following our prayer time, we enter a time of Bible study led by our Pastor.
